He looks like a human, he talks like a human, but (don’t be disappointed 😞), he’s a robot. He has no feelings, no dreams and no fears.
Imagine, he learns, by mistake, by intention or just by chance that he must hunt and kill cats. That would be a big scandal and the operation of this robot would be stopped immediately by law. Unimaginable, if he does even perform worse actions.
Robots will never understand the word safety. Therefore, you cannot train safety. Their safety must be hard coded and approved by a public authority.
And this hard coded safety needs reliable in-device communication. Communication that provides all available information from each sensor and each actuator to an internal situation room. This situation room continuously checks the situation for hazards and risks and takes counter actions in case of an endangering situation.
